Who are we?
Founded by Fred Guerrier, Hilary Hess and Eric Elofson, Rope Line is an award winning video production company. Our ad work has won an Emmy, Pollies, Reed Awards and our films have won at Sundance, Cannes Cinefondation and the Toronto International Film Festival, among many others.
With our diverse teams of filmmakers we have traveled the world with presidents, politicians, activists and philanthropists to create compelling stories that advocate for the world we want to live in.
In 2015, we spent over a year documenting the presidential bid of Senator Sanders (Bernie 2016), creating the rapid response content that built a movement and propelled his remarkable journey to the Democratic National Convention. In 2020 and 2024 we did it again with Vice President Kamala Harris for both her Presidential campaign bids.
Now, we’re ready to take those experiences and work with you to tell your story.
What do we do?
Our team specializes in documentaries, live action narrative ads, TV commercials, social media ads, branded content, animations, animated infographics, explainer videos, viral videos, event photography, studio photography, product photography and much more. Our team is also fluent in Spanish and we’ve made films in over 18 languages. If you need visual content to elevate your campaign or organization, contact us!
What exactly is the rope line?
The “rope line” is where candidates and their audience meet IRL after a rally or speech. It’s where you’ll find the best photos and video of the candidates, and it’s also where we all met!
